1, Thomas Outhwaite, Registrar of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the above is a true and faithful Return of all Balances paid by me into the Treasury of
the Colony of New Zealand, at Auckland, from the 1st day of April, to the 30th day of June, 1861, (both days inclusive,) on account of Deceased Persons' Estates officially administered by me.
Made and declared at Auckland, this 12th day of July 1861, before me,
GEORGE ALFRED ARNEY, Chief Justice.
I certify that the sum of three hundred and sixty-eight pounds nine shillings and five pence stood to the credit of the personal account of the above Estate in account with the Colonial Treasurer on the 30th of June, 1861.

"Gold Fields Act, 1858," it is hereby
notified that it is intended to grant Leases for
Gold Mining purposes on the Crown Lands
specified in the following applications.
CROSBIE WARD.
No. 37.
Applicants—Richard Okey, and Francis
Skelton.
Locality—Lightband's Gully.
Area—One acre.
In two rectangular blocks; No. 1, con-
taining two roods, commencing at its N.E.
angle at a post at the N.W. angle of land
already leased to the same applicants; and
thence running S.W. 210°, 500 links, with
a breadth of 100 links; the angles being
marked by posts.
No. 2, containing two roods, commencing
at its S.E. angle at a post at the N.E. angle
of the land already so leased, and thence
running N.E. 30°, 500 links with a breadth
of 100 links; the angles being marked by
posts.
No. 38.
Applicant—William Coppins.
Locality—McArtney's Hill.
Area—One acre.
In a triangular block; bounded towards the
North by a line bearing S.E. 108°, 1,000
links; towards the South-east by a line bear-
ing S.W. 245°, 200 links, and towards the
South-west by a line bearing N.W. 300°,
800 links; the angles being marked by posts.

Applicants—William Butcher, and James
Jacks.
Locality—Marcella Hill, Appoo's Gully.
Area—Four acres.
In an irregular block; bounded towards the
North-east by lines bearing S.E. 119°, 500
links, and S.E. 127°, 700 links; towards the
East by a line bearing S. 180°, 350 links;
towards the South-west by lines bearing N.W.
307°, 700 links, and N.W. 299°, 500 links;
and towards the West by a line bearing N.
360°, 350 links; the angles being marked
by posts.

Applicant—William Lightband, for Light-
band's Gully Company.
Locality—Lightband's Gully.
Area—One acre.
In a rectilinear block; bounded towards the
North-east by a line bearing S.E. 117°, 200
links; towards the South-east by a line bear-
ing S.W. 193°, 500 links; towards the
South-west by a line bearing N.W. 297°,
200 links; and towards the North-west by a
line bearing N.E. 13°, 500 links; the angles
being marked by posts.
