I, THOMAS OUTHWAITE, Official Administrator of the above Estate, swear that to the best
of my knowledge and belief the above is a just and true account of all the Receipts and
Disbursements on account of the above Estate of John Skelton, deceased, intestate.

THOS. OUTHWAITE.

Sworn at Auckland, this first day of July, One
thousand eight hundred and sixty-one, before me,

GEORGE ALFRED ARNEY, C. J.

I do hereby certify that I have examined and allowed this account of the Official
Administrator of the above Estate. Dated the first day of July, One thousand eight
hundred and sixty-one.

GEORGE ALFRED ARNEY,
Chief Justice.

New Zealand Company’s Land Claims Commission,
Wellington, 10th June, 1861.

I, DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed by virtue of the Ordinance, No. 15,
Session 11, of the Legislative Council of the Islands of New Zealand, to hear and decide
claims to land by persons claiming title from, through, or under the New Zealand Company,
hereby decide the said persons to be entitled to Government Scrip, particulars whereof are set
forth in the Schedule below.

DAVID LEWIS,
Commissioner.

SCHEDULE.

No. of Report. No. of Claim. Name of Claimant. Commissioner’s Decision.
1225 36 George Hart and Robert Hart, Trustees of the Estate of Robert Hart Pike Entitled to Government Scrip to the amount of One hundred and fifty pounds (£150), being in fulfilment of an award made in a case of arbitration before Mr. Commissioner Bell and Henry St. Hill, Government Assessor, on the 19th September, 1856, for a portion of Section 7, Harbour District, reserved for the Natives.

The claim to the Scrip above awarded was heard and found correct in 1856, but the Report was adjourned
in consequence of an understanding that an effort was to be made to acquire the reserved portion by purchase
from the Natives. This object has not been accomplished. The claimants at their request are entitled to the
fulfilment of their award.

The Report of No. 1181 declaring the claimants “entitled to select 150 acres of Rural land,” published in
the Government Gazette, 7th July, 1861, No. 21, is in error, and is hereby cancelled.

DAVID LEWIS,
Commissioner.
