To the Honorable the Legislative Councillors of the Colony of New
Zealand, and the Members elected to serve in the House of Repre-
sentatives of the said Colony, summoned and called to a Meeting
of the General Assembly at the City of Auckland, on the Thirtieth
May instant, and to every of youβ
A PROCLAMATION.
GREETING:β
WHEREAS on the Twenty Sixth day of March last past, the General
Assembly of New Zealand was prorogued to the Thirtieth day of
May instant, at which time, at the City of Auckland, you were
summoned to attend: Now Know Ye that you, and each of you, are
relieved from attendance at the time aforesaid, and on Monday the Third
day of June next, at two o'clock, p.m., you, and each of you, are hereby
enjoined to give your attendance in Parliament, at the City of Auckland,
in the said Colony of New Zealand.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Colonel
Thomas Gore Browne, Companion of the Most
Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and
Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same, and issued
under the Seal of the Colony of New Zealand,
at the Government House, at Auckland, this
twenty-ninth day of May, in the year of our
Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty-
one.
