TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL
COME, GREETING:
WHEREAS by an Act of the General
Assembly, intituled the "The Regu-
lation of Elections Act, 1858," it is enacted
that it shall be lawful for the Governor, by
Warrant under his hand, from time to time, to
appoint Polling Places for each Electoral
District within or without the limits thereof,
and to appoint any one of such Places to be
the Principal Polling Place for the District,
and all or any of such Polling Places at any
time to abolish, and to appoint other Polling
Places in lieu thereof:
NOW KNOW YE, that I, Thomas Gore
Browne, the Governor of the said Colony, in
pursuance of the power and authority in me
vested by the said Act, do hereby appoint
the following places to be Polling Places for the
respective Electoral Districts hereinafter speci-
fied as constituted by the "Representation
Act, 1860," for the election of Members of the
House of Representatives, namely:-
Marsden-
At Wangarei Heads-The Resident Magis-
trate's Station
At Wangarei-Mr. E. Cafler's Store
At Ngunguru-Mr. T. Stewart's residence
At Waipu-The School House
At Omanu, Wairoa, Kaipara-Mr. C. Wal-
ton's Station
At Mongawhai, Wairoa, Kaipara-Mr. H.
Atkin's Station
Town of New Plymouth-
At New Plymouth-The Court House
Omata-
At New Plymouth-The Court House
City of Wellington-
At Wellington-The Resident Magistrate's
Court; and
The Public Market of Messrs. Bethume &
Hunter
Porirua-
At Wellington-The Resident Magistrate's
Court
At Karori-The School House
At Porirua Road-the residence of Mr. Best
At Otaki- The residence of Matine Te
Whiwhi
At Manawatu-The residence of T. Robin-
son, Esq.
Hutt-
At the Hutt-The Mechanics' Institute
At the Upper Hutt-The residence of
Richard Barton, Esq., J. P.
Wairarapa-
At Grey Town-The School House
At Masterton--The School House
At Otaraia-The premises of Mr. Archi-

City of Nelson-

The School Room known as Campbell's
School; and
The Odd Fellows' Hall

At Lyttelton-The Resident Magistrate's
Court.
City of Dunedin-
At Dunedin-The Court House.
And I do further appoint the several Polling
Places hereinafter specified to be the principal
Polling Places for their respective Districts,
namely:-

garei Heads.
