PROCLAMATION.

By His Excellency Colonel THOMAS GORE BROWNE, Companion
of the most Honorable Order of the Bath, Governor
and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's
Colony of New Zealand, and its Dependencies, and
Vice-Admiral of the same, &c., &c., &c.

WHEREAS the General Assembly of New Zealand stands prorogued
to the Twenty-fifth day of July instant, and it is expedient
further to prorogue the same; Now, therefore I, the Governor, do hereby
further prorogue the said General Assembly to Monday, the thirtieth day
of July instant, and I do hereby further announce and proclaim that the
said General Assembly shall assemble for the despatch of business on the
aforesaid Monday, the thirtieth day of July instant, at two o'clock, p.m.,
in the General Assembly House, at the City of Auckland, and the Mem-
bers of the Legislative Council, and the Members of the House of Repre-
sentatives, respectively, are hereby enjoined to give their attendance at
the said time and place accordingly.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of
the Colony of New Zealand, at the Government
House, at Auckland, this twenty-fourth day of July,
in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred
and sixty.
