The boundary commences at Kaiwaka, at
the place where te Ika-a-ranganui boundary-
line crosses that river, thence following the
course of Kaiwaka to Koangatoke to the
boundary of Mr. Grahame's claim, thence by
line bearing 354° 283'00 links, and straight
on to de Wairau river; thence, along the Wai-
rau in an Easterly direction to Mr. Wilson's
survey line; thence, by a number of short sur-
vey lines, bearing as follows:-355° 30'

toke, has been reserved for Arama Karaka

TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL
COME, GREETING :

WHEREAS by an Act of the General
Assembly, intituled "The Regula-
of Elections Act, 1858," it is enacted that it
shall be lawful for the Governor by Warrant
under his hand, from time to time, to appoint
Polling Places for each Electoral District
within or without the limits thereof, and to

appoint any one of such places to be the
Principal Polling Place for the District, and all
or any of such Polling Places at any time to
abolish, and to appoint other Polling Places in
lieu thereof.

Now know Ye, that I, Thomas Gore
Browne, the Governor of the said Colony, in
pursuance of the power and authority in me
vested by the said Act, do hereby appoint the
following places to be Polling Places for
the respective Districts hereinafter specified for
the Election of Members of the House of Re-
presentatives, namely:

For the Town of Christchurch District,—
The Town Hall, Christchurch

For the Town of Lyttelton District,—
The Magistrate's Court House, Lyttelton

For the Christchurch Country District,—
The Town Hall, Christchurch
The Resident Magistrate's Court House,
Lyttelton
The Resident Magistrate's Court House,
Kaiapoi
The Resident Magistrate's Office, Timaru
The School House, Rangiora
The School House, Papanui
The School House, Riccarton
The School House, Lincoln Road
Mr. Webb's Store, Christchurch Quay
Mr. Rhode's House, Purau
Mr. Blatchford's House, Governor's Bay
Mr. Ross's House, River Selwyn
Mr. Chapman's House, River Rakaia
The Wool Shed at Teviotdale Station,
Double Corner

For the Akaroa District,—
The Resident Magistrate's Court House,
Akaroa

And I do further appoint the several Polling
Places hereinafter specified to be the Principal
Polling Places for their respective Districts,
namely:—

For the Town of Christchurch District,—
The Town Hall, Christchurch

For the Town of Lyttelton District,—
The Resident Magistrate's Court House,
Lyttelton

For the Christchurch Country District,—
The Town Hall, Christchurch

For the Akaroa District,—
The Resident Magistrate's, Court House,
Akaroa.
