CONVEYANCE OF MAILS OVER-
LAND.

General Post Office,
Auckland, March 31st, 1859.

TENDERS will be received at this Office,
or at the Post Offices, Wellington and
New Plymouth, until the 31st May next, from
persons desirous of contracting to perform the
following service for twelve months, from the
1st July next:-

1st. To convey Mails once a week between
Wellington and New Plymouth.

2nd. The Contractor to take the Mails from
the Post Office in Wellington at Two P.M.
every Monday and deliver them at the Post
Office, New Plymouth, by One P.M.
on the following Saturday.

3rd. To take the Mails from the Post Office,
New Plymouth, at Two P.M. every
Monday, and deliver them at the Post
Office, Wellington, by Eleven A.M. on the
following Saturday.

4th. To take up and deliver Mails at the
following intermediate places, viz:-
Wanganui, Turakina, Rangitikei, Mana-
watu, Otaki, Waikana, Pauhatanui,
Porirua.

5th. To deliver the Wellington Mails in
Wanganui, every Wednesday by Three
P.M.

6th. To start from Wanganui for Wellington
at Twelve o'clock, noon, on every Thurs-
day.

application to the Postmasters at Wellington,
Wanganui, and New Plymouth.

PURSUANT to the provisions of an Act
of the General Assembly of New Zea-
land, passed in the eighteenth year of the
reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, and
entitled "The Marriage Act, 1854," the fol-
lowing Name of an additional OFFICIATING
MINISTER, within the meaning of the said
Act, is published for general information.

Plymouth).

I, JOHN B. BENNETT, Registrar-General of
Births, Deaths, and Marriages in New Zea-
land, do hereby certify that the foregoing
NAME of an OFFICIATING MINISTER within the
meaning of "The Marriage Act, 1854," has
been sent to me, in addition to the Names
in Lists published respectively in the New
Zealand Gazette, No. 5, of the 29th of
January, and No. 7, of the 19th of February,
and No. 10, of the 19th of March in the
present year.

Given under my hand, at Auck-
land, this thirtieth day of
