a bottle at Port FitzRoy, in the Great
Barrier Island, on the 15th February, 1858,
and is published with a view to affording in-
formation as to the set of the currents in the
South Pacific.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been
pleased to direct that the Port of Entry
heretofore known as Ahuriri, be for the future
named

NAPIER,
and be referred to accordingly in all official
documents.
