✨ Postal Rate Tables

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Loose Letters.

This class of Letters to be charged according
to two different rates :—

1st, those letters which it is compulsory by
law to send by Post.
2nd, those which it is not compulsory so to
send.

1st class will bear a charge according to the
Postage rate established by the above
tables.
2nd class will bear a uniform charge of 2d.
per $\frac{1}{2}$ oz.

NEWSPAPERS—
For the undermentioned Foreign Countries and Colonies are chargeable with the following
ing rates of Postage, which will free them to their respective destinations :—

[The postage upon these Newspapers must in all cases be paid in advance, and, in addition
to the sums specified in this Table, the rate of postage for the conveyance of Newspapers
from New Zealand to the United Kingdom must be collected by the Colonial Post
Office.]
