"Resident Magistrates' Courts Ordinance,"
Session 7, No. 16, I hereby select and ap-
point the undermentioned Aboriginal Na-
tives to be Assessors for settling disputes,
along with the Resident Magistrate, at
Rotorua, between persons of the Aboriginal
Race; that is to say—
PAORA TE AMOHAU, of Maketu, Bay of
Plenty; and
WIREMU KINGI MURIWHENUA, of Puhi-
rua, Rotorua Lake.

following additional Bye Laws for the Hun-
dred of Onehunga, which have received His
Excellency's assent, and which will come into
operation on the 21st April, 1856, according
to the provisions of the Crown Lands Ordi-
nances.

Additional Bye Laws for the Hundred of
Onehunga, February 15, 1856.
9.--That sheep shall not be allowed to de-
pasture on the Hundred of Onehunga except
by Special License from the Wardens of the
said Hundred; such License to be issued only
for certain Districts as the Wardens may deem
it just or necessary.
Parties applying for Sheep Licenses to bear
in mind that the application shall be accom-
panied by a recommendation signed by at least
two License holders of such District.
