WITH reference to the notice in the Go-
vernment Gazette No. 6, February
23rd, 1856, folio 40, stating that a Despatch
had been received from H. M. Secretary of
State, acknowledging the receipt of a sum of
money as a remittance to the "Patriotic Fund,"
His Excellency the Governor has been pleased
to direct that the following particulars of the
sum remitted should be published for general
information.

Statement of the particulars of the sum of
four hundred and forty-one pounds one shil-
ling and eight pence sterling, paid into the
Commissariat Chest at Auckland, on the 7th
of February, 1855, for transmission to the
Secretary of State, London, on account of the
Patriotic Fund.

NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Cellar,
situated Queen-street, the property of

Messrs. Gilfillan & Co., has been approved
under the 34th section of the Customs' Regu-
lation Ordinance, 4th Victoriæ, No. 3, Sess. 1,
as a Warehouse for the reception of Goods
under Bond, at this port.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Cellar,
situated in Lower Queen Street, on
premises occupied by Messrs. Bain, Pierce &
Co., has been approved of, and duly licensed,
as a Warehouse, for the reception of Goods un-
der Bond, under the 34th clause of the Cus-
toms' Regulation Ordinance, 3rd and 4th Vic-
toriæ, Sess. 3, No. 1.
