Member of Building
Societies may hold
more than five shares
in a Society.
2. It shall be lawful for any one member of any Society,
established under the provisions of the said in part recited Or-
dinance, to hold any number of shares in such Society. Pro-
vided always that any such Society may, if it shall think fit, by
any Rule or Rules certified in manner provided by the said
Ordinance, prescribe a maximum number of shares to be held
by any one member thereof.

Short title.
3. This Act may be cited for all purposes as the "Build-
ing Societies' Amendment Act, 1856.”
