HIS Excellency the Officer administering the
Government is pleased to notify for general information that he has received a
Despatch from Sir George Grey, one of Her
Majesty's principal Secretaries of State, stating
that Her Majesty had approved of the appoint-
ments of the undermentioned gentlemen to seats
in the Legislative Council of the General As-
sembly, and transmitting Warrants under the
Royal Sign Manual and Signet, authorising their
being summoned to that Council accordingly.

NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Store, situ-
ated at Mangawhare in the Port of
Kaipara, the property of Mr. HASTINGS AT-
KINS, has been approved, under the 34th Sec-
tion of the Customs Amendment Ordinance,
4th Vic. No. 3 for the reception of goods under
Bond at that Port.
