fee of sixpence. The system of registration
is applicable to all description of letters, but
registration does not render any Postmaster,
or the Post Office Revenue, in any manner
liable for the loss of a Letter or the contents
thereof.

IN THE ESTATE OF ROBERT FYFE,
DECEASED.

THE Creditors of ROBERT FYFE, late
of the City of Wellington, and of the
Kai Koras, in the Middle Island of New
Zealand, Master Whaler, who died at sea
in or about the month of May 1854, are
requested immediately to send the parti-
culars of their claims to the Acting Exe-
cutor, George Hunter, Esq., care of
Messrs. Bethune and Hunter, Merchants,
Wellington; and all persons indebted to
the Estate of the said Robert Fyfe, are
requested forthwith to pay the amount of
such Debts to the said George Hunter.

IN THE ESTATE OF ROBERT FYFE,
DECEASED.

THE Heir-at-Law and Next-of-Kin of
ROBERT FYFE, or FYFFE, Deceased,
late of Wellington and the Kai Koras, in
the Colony of New Zealand, Master Whaler,
who was Drowned at Sea off the Coast of
New Zealand, in or about the month of
May, 1854, are requested to send infor-
mation of their Existence, and the requi-
site Legal Proof, to George Hunter, Esq.,
Acting Executor of the Deceased, care of
Messrs. Bethune & Hunter, Merchants,
Wellington, New Zealand. The Deceased
is supposed to have been born in Perth-
shire, in North Britain, was a son of
Elizabeth Stewart, otherwise Fyfe or Fyffe,
deceased, and was a grandchild of Alex-
ander Stewart, deceased; he had a sister
(married) who left Britain for some part of
North America several years ago
another sister who died in Scotland several
years ago, leaving children, and a brother
James, who appears to have enlisted in the
army many years ago. The personal estate
of Deceased, which is considerable, is
bequeathed to the Next-of-Kin generally;
the real estate descends to his Heirs..

NEW ZEALAND BANK.

NOTICE is hereby given that at the next
Session of the General Assembly to be
holden for the Colony of New Zealand, a
petition will be presented to the House of
Representatives for leave to bring in a Bill
to authorise, the establishment of a Joint
Stock or Copartnership Banking Company
(to be styled the New Zealand Bank) in any
one or more of the Provinces of the said
Colony.
