IN pursuance of the provisions of the New Zealand Constitution Act, His
Excellency the Officer Administering the Government directs the publication
of the following Acts of the General Assembly for public information.

AN ACT for Regulating the Disposal of the Waste Lands of the Title.
Crown in New Zealand.
(Assented to 14th September, 1854.)

WHEREAS by an Act passed in the Session of the Imperial Preamble.
Parliament holden in the 15th and 16th years of the reign
of Her present Majesty, entitled "An Act to grant a Representa-
tive Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand," it was enacted,
that subject to the provisions therein contained, it should be lawful
for the General Assembly of the said Colony to make laws for re-
