Auckland, 9th March. 1847.

IHENRY MATSON, a Commissioner
appointed for examining and reporting
on all Claims to Land under the Proclamation
of the 26th March, 1844, do hereby give
notice, that I will investigate the under-
mentioned Claims, in the Council Chamber, on
Monday, the 29th day of March, 1847. at ten
o'clock in the forenoon.

The Cases will be heard in the order in
which they stand in the following List, and all
parties interested are hereby summoned to be
in attendance, with their documents and wit-
nesses.

Case No. 24. Pre-emption Certificate No. 6.
-JAMES RUTHERFORD, of Epsom, carpenter.
8 acres, Eight acres, situated at Remuera,
on the south side of the Tamaki road, and
having a frontage thereto of about five chains,
containing about eight acres.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chief Jabez Bunting.
Consideration—£3 9s. 6d.

Case No. 25. Pre-emption Certificate No. 14.
-EDWARD OTHER, late of Auckland, drafts-
man.
50 acres, Fifty acres, situated at the south
side of, and adjoining, a swamp, lying directly
between Mount Hobson and One Tree Hill,
and about half a mile tomation, fifty
Acres.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chiefs Kawau, Kawae, and Te Hira.
Consideration—£37 10s., and 10 blankets.

Case No. 26. Pre-emption Certificate No. 40.
-CHARLES ROBINSON, of Auckland, grocer.
37a. 3r. 28p., situated at Koteparaoraoro,
in the county of Eden; and bounded on the
north by land the property of Mr. Other; on
the east by Mr. Henry; on the west by Mr.
S. A. Wood, and Mr. Hart; and on the west
by the natives.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chief Te Hira.
Consideration—£20.

Case No. 27. Pre-emption Certificate No. 22.
-THOMAS HENRY, of Auckland, storekeeper.
200 acres, Two hundred acres, lying to
the northward of One Tree Hill, and adjoin-
ing the same.
Alleged to have been purchased from the
native chief Kawau and others.
Consideration—£120.

Case No. 28. Pre-emption Certificate No. 9.
-GEORGE HART, late of Sydney, New
South Wales, merchant.
50 acres, Fifty acres, situated opposite the
farms of Mr. Scott and Mr. Rich.
