HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint

JOHN POYNTER, ESQ.,
to be Crown Solicitor, and Registrar of Deeds for the district of Nelson.

This appointment to bear date from the 1st July, 1847.

Auckland, 20th September, 1847.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Under-mentioned Condemned Goods will be sold by Public Auction, at Rich's Bonded Warehouse, on Tuesday, the 5th October next, at One o'clock, p. m.

136 lbs. Manufactured Tobacco.
