CROWN GRANTS.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Auckland, 4th April, 1846.

THE undermentioned Deed of Grant is
now lying at this Office ready for delivery,
and His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor
directs it to be notified, that if this deed is
not taken up within three months after the
date of this Gazette, a fee of five shillings
will be charged for each month it may re-
main beyond that period, according to the
"Crown Grants' Ordinance," Session 5, No. 3.

In cases where it is impossible for the
Grantee to attend in person to receive his
Deed, it will be delivered to the bearer of an
authority according to the subjoined form, cer-
tified by a Magistrate, or by a Solicitor of the
Supreme Court.

GENERAL ANNUAL LICENSING
MEETING.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the General
Annual Licensing Meeting for the Town
and District of Auckland, will be holden at
this Office on Tuesday, the 21st day of April,
next, at the hour of ten in the forenoon for
the purpose of taking into consideration appli-
cations for Licenses for the Sale of Fermented
and Spirituous Liquors, agreeable to Act of
Governor and Council, 5th Victoria, Sess. 2,
No. 12.

All applications for such Licenses under this
Ordinance, must be lodged with me at this
Office, on or before Tuesday, the 7th day of
April, next.

NOTICE.

PERSONS desirous of subscribing for the
Government Gazette, or of advertising
therein, are requested to apply to Mr. JOHN
WILLIAMSON, the contracting Printer for the
current year.

Charges for advertising will be made at the
rate of three shillings for eight lines and under,
and one penny for each line additional; and
six pence per sheet will be charged for the
Gazette, from this date.
