PAINTING, GLAZING, AND PLUMBERS'
WORK.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Auckland, 6th March, 1846.

TENDERS will be received at this Office
on or before Thursday, the 26th instant,
from persons who may be desirous to enter into
a Contract to perform, for the ensuing quarter,
the Painters', Plumbers', and Glaziers' Work
required by this Government.

Information respecting the terms of payment
and other particulars, may be had on application
to the Superintendent of Public Works-from
whom also Forms of Tender may be obtained.

CONTRACT FOR SMITHS' WORK.

Auckland, 6th March, 1846.

TENDERS will be received at this Office
on or before Thursday, the 26th instant,
from parties desirous of contracting for the
performance of Smiths' Work for the service of
this Government, for the ensuing quarter.

Information respecting the probable descrip-
tion of work which will be required, and the
terms of delivery and payment, may be obtained
on application to the Superintendent of Public
Works-from whom also Forms of Tender may
be obtained.

CONTRACT FOR FIREWOOD.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Auckland, 6th March, 1846.

TENDERS will be received at this Office
on or before Thursday, the 26th instant,
from parties who may be desirous of furnishing
for the Colonial Service, supplies of Firewood,
for the various Departments of this Government.

The Tenders must specify the rate per Ton,
for delivering Firewood on the Beach in Com-
mercial or Official Bay.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a Brick
Cellar, in Shortland Street, the property
of Messrs. WILLIAMSON and CRUMMER, has been
approved and appointed under the 34th Section
of the "Customs' Ordinance," 4 Victoria, No.
3, for the reception of Goods under Bond at
this Port.

Government, previous to the 14th November,
1845, sent to the Colonial Treasury for issue.

GENERAL ANNUAL LICENSING
MEETING.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the General
Annual Licensing Meeting, for the Town
and District of Auckland, will be holden at this
Office on Tuesday, the 21st day of April, next,
at the hour of ten in the forenoon, for the pur-
pose of taking into consideration applications
for Licenses for the Sale of Fermented and
Spirituous Liquors, agreeable to Act of Governor
and Council, 5th Victoria, Sess. 2, No. 12.

All applications for such Licenses under this
Ordinance, must be lodged with me at this
Office, on or before Tuesday, the 7th day of
April, next.
