CROWN GRANTS.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Auckland, 25th August, 1846.

THE undermentioned Deeds of Grant are
now lying at this Office ready for delivery
and His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor
directs it to be notified, that for every deed
not taken up within three months after the
date of this Gazette, a fee of five shillings
will be charged for each month it may re-
main beyond that period, according to the
"Crown Grants' Ordinance," Session 5, No. 3.

In cases where it is impossible for the
Grantee to attend in person to receive his
Deed, it will be delivered to the bearer of an
authority according to the subjoined form, cer-
tified by a Magistrate, or by a Solicitor of the
Supreme Court.

SUPREME COURT.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a Sitting of
the Supreme Court for the despatch of
Criminal Business. will be holden at the Court
House, Auckland, on Tuesday, the first day of
September next, at Ten o'clock in the fore-
noon; and that a Sitting for the despateh of
Civil Business will be holden at the Court
House, on Monday, the seventh day of Sep-
tember next, at the hour of Ten o'clock in the
forenoon; at which times and place all per-
sons under recognizances to appear, either as
prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses, are re-
quired to give their attendance.

TRANSFER OF LICENCES.

A SPECIAL MEETING of the
Justices for the Town and District of
Auckland, will be holden on TUESDAY, the
first day of September next, at the Police
Office, Auckland, at Eleven o'clock in the fore-
noon, for the purpose of receiving applications
for the Transfer of Publicans' Licenses.

THE TOWN LANDS advertised for Sale in the Government Gazette, by Proclamation, da-
ted the 14th May, 1846, having in pursuance thereof, been offered to public competition on
the 30th June, 1846, the undermentioned Lot was sold to the party named, and the price af-
fixed has been received. The remaining Lots were withdrawn, no offer having been made at
the upset price.
