has been pleased to direct that the
Names of the following Gentlemen be inserted
in the Commission of the Peace for the Colony
of New Zealand:—

Thomas Ringrose Atkyns, Esq., of Auckland.
James Coutts Crawford, Esq., of Wellington.
George Duppa, Esq., of Nelson.
Constantine Augustus Dillon, Esq., commonly
called the Honorable Constantine Augustus
Dillon, of Nelson.
David Stark Durie, Esq., of Wellington.
Donald McLean, Esq., of New Plymouth.
Alfred Chetham Strode, Esq., of Wellington.
George White, Esq., of Nelson.

TENDERS will be received at this Office,
until twelve o'clock, on Monday, the
13th instant, from parties desirous of contract-
ing for the construction of

Two BUOYS,
for the Harbor Master's Department.
Information respecting the probable de-
scription of Work which will be required, and
the terms of delivery and payment, may be
obtained on application at the Office of the
Harbor Master.
The Tenders to be sealed and endorsed
"Tenders for Buoys."

Salaries of Officers, holding situations under
this Government, shall in future be paid
Monthly.

The Heads of Departments are required to
send in their Abstracts to the Audit Office, on
the last day of each month.

requested to send in with their Tender a sam-
ple of the Article, and to state the Price and
the earliest time when it can be supplied.
The Tender to be sealed and endorsed
