THE Lieutenant-Governor has been pleased to direct the publication of the following List of
Pre-emption Certificates, waiving the Crown's right of Pre-emption in favor of certain
individuals which were issued by Governor Fitz-Roy in pursuance of His Excellency's Pro-
clamation dated 10th of October 1844, and the Government Notice dated the 7th December
1844, stating His Excellency's intention to demand no fees upon waiving the Crown's Right of
Pre-emption, but to demand the payment of one penny per Acre on the issue of Crown
Grants for such Lands.
