PAINTING, GLAZING, AND PLUMBERS'
WORK. period, according to the "Crown Grants' Ordi-
nance," Session V, No. 3.

Auckland, 15th December, 1845.
TENDERS will be received at this Office
on or before Friday, the 26th instant,
from persons who may be desirous to enter into
a Contract to perform, for the ensuing quarter,
the Painters', Plumbers', and Glaziers' Work
required by this Government.
Information respecting the terms of payment
and other particulars, may be had on application
to the Superintendent of Public Works-from
whom also Forms of Tender may be obtained.

In cases where it is impossible for the Grantee
to attend in person to receive his Deed, it will
be delivered to the bearer of an authority accor-
ding to the subjoined form, certified by a Magis-
trate, or by a Solicitor of the Supreme Court.

CONTRACT FOR SMITHS' WORK.
Colonial Secretary's Office,
Auckland, 15th December, 1845.
TENDERS will be received at this Office
on or before Friday, the 26th instant,
from parties desirous of contracting for the
performance of Smiths' Work for the service of
this Government, for the ensuing quarter.
Information respecting the probable descrip-
tion of work which will be required, and the
terms of delivery and payment, may be obtained
on application to the Superintendent of Public
Works-from whom also Forms of Tender may
be obtained.

acre and ten perches, being Claim No. 65 b.
345. John Evans, said to contain thirty acres,
being Claims Nos. 89 c, d, & e.
CONTRACT FOR FIREWOOD.

Auckland, 15th December, 1845.
TENDERS will be received at this Office
on or before Friday, the 26th instant,
from parties who may be desirous of furnishing
for the Colonial Service, supplies of Firewood,
for the various Departments of this Government.
The Tenders must specify the rate per Ton,
for delivering Firewood on the Beach in Com-
mercial or Official Bay.

roods, and twenty-eight perches, being Claim

CROWN GRANTS.

THE undermentioned Deeds of Grant are
now lying at this Office ready for delivery
-and His Excellency the Governor directs it
to be notified, that for every Deed not taken
up within three months after the date of this
Gazette, a fee of five shillings will be charged
for each month it may remain beyond that
