HIS Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor
directs it to be notified, that the Legis-
lative Council will meet for the dispatch of
business, on Friday, the 12th instant, at one
o'clock.

CROWN GRANTS.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Auckland, 10th December, 1845.

THE undermentioned Deeds of Grant are
now lying at this Office ready for delivery
β€”and His Excellency the Governor directs it
to be notified, that for every Deed not taken
up within three months after the date of this
Gazette, a fee of five shillings will be charged
for each month it may remain beyond that
period, according to the "Crown Grants' Ordi-
nance," Session V, No. 3.

In cases where it is impossible for the Grantee
to attend in person to receive his Deed, it will
be delivered to the bearer of an authority accor-
ding to the subjoined form, certified by a Magis-
trate, or by a Solicitor of the Supreme Court.
