tion of the Governor, that a Book contain-
ing 250 TEN SHILLING Debentures--numbered
from 4251 to 4500--has been stolen from the
Colonial Secretary's Office--and that some of
the Debentures are in circulation with forged
signatures.

next Land Sale, fixed by His Excellency
the Governor for the 31st of this month, may
be the last at which Scrip can be made available.

TENDERS will be received at this Office, on
Tuesday, the 15th day of July next, for
constructing a Quay of Scoria, in Fort Street;
and also for re-building part of the Hard, in
Official Bay.
All particulars may be learned by applying at
this Office, any day after the 1st of July next,
between the hours of ten and twelve o'clock.
