PROCLAMATION.
By Major THOMAS BUNBURY, K. T. S., of
Her Majesty's 80th Regiment, Comman-
ding the Troops in New Zealand, and
conducting the duties of the Government
during the temporary absence of His
Excellency ROBERT FITZROY, Es-
quire, Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice
Admiral of the same, &c., &c., &c.
THOMAS BUNBURY, do hereby advertise
, and proclaim that, at Eleven o'clock,
on Wednesday, the 28th day of February, 1844,
the Colonial Treasurer will put up to Auction
at the Treasury, the undermentioned Lot,
on the terms and conditions and under the
provisions of an Act of Parliament, passed in
the fifth and sixth years of the reign of Her
Majesty Queen Victoria, chap. 36, entituled
"An Act for regulating the Sale of Waste
"Lands belonging to the Crown in the Australian
"Colonies."
Deposit on the purchase money, Ten pounds
per centum.

Blocks of Scoria, for Public Works.
The Tenders to be sealed and endorsed "Ten-
ders for Scoria." Parties who may be desirous
to Tender are referred to the Superintendent of
Public Works for such further information as
they may wish for.
