offers were made for them at the upset price.

NOTICE TRANSFER OF LICENSES.

A SPECIAL MEETING of the Justices
for the Town and District of Auckland,
will be holden on Tuesday, the 5th day of Sep-
tember next, at the Police Office, Auckland, at
eleven o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose
of receiving applications for the transfer of
Publican's Licenses.
