HIS Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to direct that
the following Returns of the number of Ships, with their tonnage and men, which have
entered inwards, and cleared outwards, at each Port in New Zealand since the establishment
of the Customs, and of the amount of Customs' Duties received at each Port in New Zealand,
in the years 1841 and 1842, and of the charges of collection, be published for general infor-
mation.
