From the entrance of the Tora Mera Creek
taking in all the left banks of the same, and a-
line running by compass, for six miles be-
yond the source or head of the Tora Mera
Creek, is the southern boundary, at the point
where the six miles terminate; a line running
by compass, until the entrance of the Wai ho hui
creek bears by compass, is the inland boundary;
a line running by compass, from the position
where the entrance of the Wai ho hui Creek
bore to the head of the latter Creek, is the
northern boundary; these bearings take in the
present claim of Maton Karaka.

Hokianga, claimant.
All the landed property belonging formerly to
the native chief Epee (deceased), situate at the
Waima and its branches, including the Tarake
and Pa, with the exception of one tract left by
Epee to his wife Appee. Also a tract of land
near the Oranei river, and another portion of
land situate on the left bank of the Hokianga
river, below Motou Karaka.
Alleged to have been obtained from the native
chief Epee, shot at the Bay of Islands,
all his lands having been made over to
claimant for a heavy debt.

of Hokianga, Claimant.
A tract of land 36 square miles, situated at
Kiapara, being all the Oduwhuarra river, (a
branch of the Kiapara,) with the land on either

extent of three miles, and joining the head or
source of the Oduwhuarra river.
Alleged to have been purchased by claimant
