N OTICE is hereby given, that a Surveyor
will be in attendance on the days under-
mentioned, to point out to proprietors the
boundaries of their Allotments, in Section No.
4, of the Town of Auckland, as originally sold
by the Government:—

Thursday, 24th November, from Nos. 1 to 14.
Friday, 25th November, from Nos. 14 to 28,
Saturday, 26th November, from Nos. 29 to 42.

TO IRONMONGERS.

P ERSONS willing to contract for supplying
the Government with Ironmongery, Nails,
&c., of every description, for the year 1843,
commencing 1st January, are requested to send
to the Colonial Storekeeper before the 24th of
December next, a list of all articles, with prices
annexed, for which they may wish to tender.

N OTICE is hereby given that immediately
after the Land Sale advertised for Thurs-
day, the 24th of November, next, the Govern-
ment Auctioneer will put up to public competi-
tion six horses, the property of the Government,
recently used in the corps of Mounted Police.

FIVE POUNDS REWARD.

W HEREAS, the Government Black smiths
Shop at Mechanic's Bay was oken
into on the night of the first of November, and
two Fowling pieces stolen therefrom, viz.—One
a double barrelled gun, silver mounted on the
stock, and the barrels gold mounted, makers
name on each breech "Simmons," as also a dog
in gold on the breech iron. The other a single
barrelled duck gun, brass mounted, the cock of
which had been broken and brazed. The
above Reward will be given to any person who
may within three months from the date hereof
give such information, as may lead to the Con-
viction of the Offender or Offenders.

SALE OF LAND.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Auckland, October 18th, 1842.

A T Eleven o'clock, on Monday the 23rd day
of January, 1843, the Colonial Treasurer
will put up to Auction at the Treasury, the
under-mentioned allotments of Land, in the
Town of Auckland, on the terms authorised by
Government.

Further information respecting the Land, may
be obtained from the Surveyor-General, and
respecting the conditions of sale, from the
Colonial Treasurer.

Upset price—£100 per acre.
