Hokianga; bounded by that river in front, ex-
tending from the junction of it with the creek Hua
Toia, or Omanaka, to the extent of Raumati's
claim, nearly opposite the creek Arrawatakowai,
and from thence by a line north west west, to
the creek Hua Toia, and across that creek to the
first ridge of hills on the back, and by the creek
on all sides.

from the native chief Raumati.

west 2 miles, over a hill to the bottom of a valley,
the southern boundary; the eastern or river
boundary is from Puke i tanga to Hua Tohia;
on the north by a line running west north west
5 miles from the north east end of Hua Tohia;
on the west, or inland by a line south south-
east from the termination of the north boundary
until Puke I tanga bears east by compass.
Alleged to have been purchased by John
Marmon the 12th September, 1827, from
the native chief Narwaka, who sold to
Messrs. Mac Donald and Russell, Captain
Mac Donald sold his interest to G. F.
Russell, who sold to claimants.

50, Fifty acres, more or less, at the north
head of Hokianga, running west north west one
hundred and fifty yards, in an easterly direction
from the river 230 yards; north east by
east, 300 yards; north east, about 200 yards
to a Poridi tree; bounded by a creek leading
to the main river on the north side, situated in
a portion of land called O Ma Pere.
Alleged to have been purchased by claimant
on the 14th March, 1832, from the native
chiefs Maetara, Rangatira, and others.

on the 25th May, 1838, from native chiefs
Moetara, Rangatira, and others.

west bank of the Hokianga; bounded on the

Alleged to have been purchased by claimant
on the 13th October, 1835, from the native
chiefs Popohea, Wairo, and others.
