ECCLESIASTICAL APPOINTMENTS.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the following
Ecclesiastical Appointments have been
made by the Right Reverend the Lord BISHOP
of New Zealand.

REV. WILLIAM WILLIAMS, B. A.,
to be Archdeacon of the District of the East
Cape.

VENERABLE ARCHDEACON WM. WILLIAMS,
and

REV. THOMAS WHYTEHEAD, M. A.,
Fellow of St. Johns College, Cambridge,
to be Examining Chaplains to the Bishop.

REV. W. C. COTTON, M. A.,
Student of Christ Church, Oxford.
to be Domestic Chaplain to the Bishop.

REV. J. F. CHURTON,
to be Minister of the Township of Auckland.

REV. R. COLE,
to be Minister of the Township of Wellington.

REV. H. WILLIAMS,
to be Commissary of the Bishop for the District
of the Bay of Islands, and a Surrogate for
granting Marriage Licenses.

REV. J. F. CHURTON,
to be Surrogate for the District of Auck-
land.

REV. R. COLE,
to be Surrogate for the District of Welling-
ton.

NOTICE is hereby given to Purchasers of
Land in the vicinity of the Manukau
Road, who may be desirous of having the posi-
tion and boundaries of their Lands pointed out
to them, that a Surveyor will be in attendance
for that purpose on the days under-mentioned,
viz.-14th July, Nos. 49, 48, 47, 45, 42, 41,
39, 37, 35, 34, and 33. 15th July, Nos. 94,
98, 42, 114, and 115.

Parties failing to attend on the days above-
mentioned, any subsequent application from
them will not be attended to.

COUNTY COURT.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a Sitting of
the County Court for the despatch of
Criminal Business, will be holden at the Court
House, at Kororarika, Bay of Islands, on Tues-
day, the 19th day of July, next, at ten o'clock
in the forenoon; at which time and place, all
Persons under recognizances to appear either as
Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are re-
quired to give their attendance.

The Court will be open for the despatch of
Civil Business on the following day.
