of Russell and the Bay of Islands, to be holden on
the 25th instant.

for the Registration of Deeds and the Instruments
affecting Real Property.
Private Ordinance.—Session [II, No. 1.—An
Ordinance to simplify Legal Proceedings by and
against the New Zealand Banking Company.

NOTICE is hereby given, that all Advertise-
ments and communications intended to be
inserted in the "Te Karere o Nui Terene,"
(Maori Gazette) must be forwarded to the office
of the Chief Protector of Aborigines, on or before
the 20th of each month.

WILLOUGHBY SHORTLAND.
RUSSELL COURT OF REQUESTS.
THE Commissioner hereby notifies, that a
Court of Requests for the District of Rus-
sell, and the Bay of Islands, will be holden at the
Court House, in Russell, on Thursday, the 3rd
day of February, next, at 10 o'Clock in the fore-
noon of the same day. The necessary Forms and
all summonses and other proceedings may be ob-
tained on application at the Police Office, Russell.
