ADDITIONS TO THE OFFICE OF THE
SURVEYOR GENERAL.

T ENDERS will be received at this Office
until noon of WEDNESDAY the 11th of
May, from persons willing to undertake the
erection of the additions required to be made to
the Building, at present occupied as an Office
by the Surveyor-General.

Plans and descriptions of the work required,
may be seen at the Office of the Superintendant
of Public Works, where all information on the
subject may be obtained.

A N ERROR having occurred in the printing
of the Ordinance of the Governor and
Council Session 1. No. 3.,—wherein the date of
that Ordinance is given as the 17th July, 1841,
in place of the 17th June, 1841. His Excellency,
pending a reprint of the Ordinances of that Ses-
sion, has directed the attention of the Public to
be called to the mistake for the purpose of pre-
venting misapprehension.

TENDERS.

T ENDERS will be received at the Office of
the Superintendant of the Domain, until
noon of MONDAY the ninth instant, from per-
sons willing to Contract for Draining the lower
part of Shortland Crescent and Queen-street.

Plan of the Drains required, and specifications
of the work may be seen at the above Office, at
which parties are requested to apply for infor-
mation.

NOTICE

I S hereby given that until further notice the
House belonging to James Harris, lately
occupied as a Council Office, in Eden Crescent,
will be used as a temporary Custom House.
