the river and district of Wairoa, Paramitowiti.
Kapalatia. To Koraka or Cape Campbell, Waipa-
pa, Mangamanu, Kaikora, Aitia Peketa, Te
Kia-kra, Onui and Te Whanga, und also com-
prising all those landu, tenements, woods, bays,
harbours, rivers, streams and creeks, situate on
the northern shore of the said Cook's Straits,
which are bounded on the north east by a direct
Ine drawn from the southern head of the river or
harbour of Mokan, situate on the west coat, in
the latitude of about thirty-eight degrees South,
to Tohakalove, situate in the East coast, in the
latitude of about forty-one degress South, and on
the East, West and South by the sea, excepting
always the ishunds of Kapiti or Entry Island, and
the stall islands adjacent thereto, and the island
of Manila or Table island, alt situate on the said
northern shore of Conk's Straits, but including
Tehakakore, Warehama, Rangawnchama, Waine-
rah, Turakirai, Wanganui, Atera or Port Nichol-
son, Rimeras, Oterango, Onerai, Tecanuro, Oa-
riu, Titahi, Parerura, Ohorka, Tierwarewa, Wai-
kohai, Waimea, Otaki, Owaha, Manewatu, Rangi-
tith, Wangatha, Turakinai, Wangsoni, Waitotera,
Whennakurac Paten, Tangahohi Ngatirua and
Paltalkatintritz, Taranaki, Mohrรถrn, and the severall
other sugar loafidanids; and the river and harbour
of Mokao.
Alleged to have been purchased by claimant
from the native chiefs E Hiko, Rauparo,,
Maoranga, Mhorina, Tunia, Te Wita, Mare,,
Etaki, Eota, Pajoki, Enghia for himself and!
brothers, Rangaihiro, Itahanga, and Rin-
gearota.

from Manewatu to Patea, and inland from either
of the said Points to the Volcano or mountain of
Tonga Ridi.
