ANNUAL LICENSING MEETING.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the General
Annual Licensing Meeting, for the pur-
pose of taking into consideration Applications
for Licenses for sale of Spirits, will be holden at
the Police Office Auckland, on Tuesday, the 19th
day of April next, at 10 o'clock, A. M.
Each Applicant for a License must, on or before
the first Tuesday in the month of April, deliver
to the Clerk of the Magistrates a notice in writing
signed duly, and in the form in Schedule B.,
annexed to the Licensing Ordinance V Victorice,
Session II, No. XI, together with a certificate
signed by at least five substantial householders,
residing within the District, in the form in the
Schedule C. annexed to the said Ordinance.

NOTICE is hereby given, that Messrs. Wil-
liam Jeffrey and Co. of the Bay of Islands
have sold the shares held by them in the New
Zealand Banking Company, and ceased from the
24th of February, 1842, to have any interest in
the said Company.
