second day of September next, for revising and
settling the Jury List of the Town of Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the List of all
persons residing in the town of Auckland,
liable to serve on Juries, having been made out,
copies will be posted at the Police Office; the
School-house; and Government Store.
All persons desirous of inspecting the original
list can do so, without fee, for fourteen days after
this notice, by applying to me at the Police Office,
Auckland, between the hours of Eleven and Twelve
in the forenoon.

AUCKLAND COURT OF REQUESTS.
THE COMMISSIONER hereby notifies that
the first Court of Requests, for the District
of Auckland, will be holden at the School House,
on Tuesday the Seventh day of September next,
at Ten o'clock in the forenoon, and on following
days at the same hour and place.
Forms of proceedings in this Court may be
obtained, together with all necessary information,
at the office of C. B. Brewer, Esq. Registrar.

shall be henceforth one of the common Gaols of
the colony, and shall be under the jurisdiction of

NOTICE is hereby given, that Tenders will be
received at this office until noon of
Wednesday, the 25th instant, from persons willing
to enter into Contract for supplying the Govern-
ment with Five Hundred Bushels of Lime, to be
delivered at the Government Store; the delivery
to commence on the 1st day of September next.

Security will be required for the due performance
of the Contract, and no Tender can be entertained
which is not accompanied by a letter from two
responsible parties, stating their willingness to
euter into a Bond accordingly.

The Bond will require to be signed within one
week from the date of the notification of the
acceptance of the Tender.

Parties tendering, or their Agent, are requested
to attend at this office on the above-named day.

Further particulars may be obtained on applica-
tion to Mr. Holman, Acting Superintendent of
Public Works.

NOTICE is hereby given, that Tenders will
be received at this Office until noon of
WEDNESDAY, the 25th instant, from Persons
willing to enter into Contract for supplying the
Government with Twenty-five Thousand Kawri
Shingles, to be delivered at the Government
Store at Auckland.

Delivery to commence on the 1st day of Sep-
tember next.

Tenders to be endorsed "Tender for Shingles,"
and parties tendering, or their agents, are requested
to attend at this Office on the above-named day.
