Colonial Secretary's Office,
Auckland, Saturday, July 3, 1841.
HIS Excellency the GOVERNOR di-
rects it to be notified, that the
NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT GA-
ZETTE will be published officially on
WEDNESDAY in each ensuing week,
commencing on WEDNESDAY next, the
7th day of July.

The Heads of the several Depart-
ments will be pleased to observe, that
it will be necessary to transmit to the
Colonial Secretary, by twelve o'clock
on Saturday, whatever is intended for
publication on the succeeding Wed-
nesday.

WILLOUGHBY SHORTLAND.

be notified, that the PRISON AT AUCKLAND
shall be henceforth one of the common Gaols of
the colony, and shall be under the jurisdiction of
the Sheriff.

WILLOUGHBY SHORTLAND.

be notified, that the PRISON AT RUSSELL
shall be henceforth one of the common Gaols of
the colony, and shall be under the jurisdiction of
the Sheriff.

be notified, that the PRISON AT PORT NICHOL-
SON shall be henceforth one of the common Gaols
of the colony, and shall be under the jurisdiction
of the Sheriff.

shall be henceforth one of the common Gaols of
the colony, and shall be under the jurisdiction of
the Sheriff.

NOTICE.
PORT OF AUCKLAND.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a Warehouse
situate in Fort Street, the property of
Messrs. TRIMMER and SMITH, has been approved
for the reception of Spirits, Wine, and other
Goods, under Bond, in accordance with the Or-
dinance of the Governor and Council of New
Zealand, No. 3, of 1841.
