THE UNDERSIGNED, HAVING entered into the Timber Trade, begs to inform his friends and the public that he is now ready to enter into arrangements for the supply of one or more cargoes of spars or squared timber on reasonable terms.

WANTED, a married agricultural Tanner, of good character, to rent on clearing Lease, or to take charge of an eligible Farm of 1000 to 4000 acres, about 80 miles from the Bay of Islands on which the family of the Proprietor may come to reside.
If a competent Tanner of reputable character, should one in may be allotted as part payment, after a period of service, or a portion of the above sold, containing arable ground and timber forest, if required by persons renting on clearing lease.
The object of the Proprietor being merely to nurse the property under respectable occupant for a few years, and to provide a reputable neighbourhood, none but persons with families, and of general farming experience, need apply.

To be let or Sold,
A portion of the Land at the Ananni
CONSISTING of from 500 to 5000 Acres, in every respect adapted for the purposes of Tanning or depasturing Cattle or Sheep. It has a fine river running through it, capable of admitting a vessel of from 10 to 15 tons. It is bounded by the Western Coast where there is some good Land, and a dry run for Sheep. The Land lies particularly well for the plough, being one continued flat, and free from stumps of trees or other impediments. There are about two miles of wood connected with it, fit for fencing and ordinary purposes, besides several patches of puriri.
The Title is as good as that of any Land in New Zealand can possibly be.
The distance from the Bay of Islands is about 80 miles by water or two days' journey over land.
The Proprietor proposes either to dispose of it as a whole, or in parcels of 200 acres, more or less, or to let it out as a cattle run or in small Farms.

Victoria Hotel, KORORARIKA;
UNDER the superintendence of Jonathan Wyoc&f.—The Public Dinner on occasion of opening the above Hotel, is (on account of the House not being finished so soon as was expected,) unavoidably postponed for a week or two when due notice will be given.
The House consists of two dining-rooms and eight sleeping apartments, and contains every accommodation necessary to render it a place of desirable sojourn both to strangers visiting this locality and to other gentlemen or families who may not wish to enter immediately on a private residence.
An assortment of the best wines and other liquors has been laid in, and every attention will be paid to the comfort and convenience of those who may honour this House with their patronage.

CAUTION.
THE UNDERSIGNED HEREBY cautions the Public against trespassing, cutting or purchasing wood upon the following properties, viz:—
A valley at the back of the Victoria Hotel.
ALSO,
A portion of Land at the Waikati, running from the Company’s land to the land of Messrs. Green and Black.
ALSO,
A large portion of land at Uruti or Orougo.
ALSO,
A portion of land running from Ouo Rua, about half-a-mile on the coast to Pawa.
ALSO,
A large portion of land situated between Wangaroa and Mangonui, having about ten miles frontage and running back about five miles, named as follows:—
Toopo, Patu Kownta, Korowini, Mangoglm liu, Mourna Ringa Ringa, Halu Ku Rupa, Tara kia, Ora ewi, Rangi hi no no, Hooruto, Tiki nu ram, Matanihunili, Hooria, Waka Puka, Opoo, Pooka lohia, Ti ti Watiui, Wyrale, Wy hi hi, Terare, Tapoo roroa, Motiga Katia.
Any person found cutting wood or otherwise trespassing, will be prosecuted according to Law.
