COLONIAL BANK OF NEW ZEALAND.

NOTICE is hereby given that the
"Transfer Books" of the above Bank
will be closed from the 15th to the
28th instant, both days inclusive.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.β€”The subscription is at the rate of
33s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN
ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be
subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged for at the rate of 6d. per
line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the
second and any subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening
in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before 2 o'clock of the day
preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington.

BANKRUPTCY NOTICES.

THE public are informed that notices in respect of
bankruptcy proceedings cannot be inserted in the
New Zealand Gazette unless they are signed by a
Official Assignee, as prescribed by the Bankruptcy Act.

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand,
Wellington District.

In the matter of the Bankruptcy Act, 1883, and the
Bankruptcy Act Amendment Act, 1884.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undersigned,
being a creditor of the above-named debtor, will
apply to the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at
Wellington, on the 28th day of March, 1892, at
10 o'clock in the forenoon, or as soon thereafter as
counsel can be heard, for an order that the estate
of the said debtor be vested in the Official Assignee
of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Wellington,
for the benefit of the creditors of the said debtor,
and for such further or other order as to this
Honourable Court shall seem meet.
