NOTICE is hereby given to all persons
occupying Defined Runs on Crown Lands,
that the time for making their Returns of
Stock will expire on Thursday, the 30th of
September, instant.

IMPOUNDED, in the Public Pound, Hob-
son's Bridge, for trespassing in the enclosed
land of Mr. John Wallace, at Papatuitui :β
One red and white Spotted Ox, branded IH
off rump, ES near rump.
If not claimed, the above animal will be
sold at the Pound on the 16th day of October,
1852, at noon.

N O T I C E.
PERSONS intending to slaughter Cattle
within the District proclaimed by His
Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, are re-
quested to forward notice in writing to the
Inspector of Slaughter Houses, of the time
and place of such intended slaughtering, or
leave the said notice at his residence, near the
Public Pound, Hobson's Bridge, Newmarket,
agreeably to the provisions of the Slaughter
House Ordinance, Victoria 11, Session 8,
No. 5.
The penalty for slaughtering Cattle without
such notice is five pounds for each and every
head of horned or neat cattle so slaughtered.
