NOTICE.

HIS Excellency the LIEUTENANT-GOVERNOR has been pleased to direct and appoint that Hokianga and Mongonui shall be additional Polling Places at the forthcoming Election of a Person to serve as a Member of the Provincial Legislative Council for the Bay of Islands, at such convenient places thereat respectively as shall be specified by the Returning Officer for the "Bay of Islands" District.

to be Returning Officer for the following Electoral Districts, viz., the "Pensioner Settlements" and the "Southern Division."

ALL Persons who have had Stock depasturing in the Auckland Park during the months of May and June, are requested to make a return of the same to HENRY BRIGGS, the Park Ranger,—John Shepherd, the late Ranger, having failed to render any account.

PERSONS whose names have been omitted from the various Ward Lists of the Borough of Auckland, are invited to attend at an adjourned Meeting of Justices for the said Borough, to be holden at the Resident Magistrate's Court, Auckland, on FRIDAY, the 16th instant, at twelve o'clock, noon, for the purpose of having them added thereto.
