Civil Secretary’s Office,
Auckland, 29th October, 1850.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Civil Secretary until noon on Tuesday, the 12th November next, for the supply of the following, viz.—

2 Strong Draught Mares
1 Plough
1 pair of Harrows (wooden frames)
less than 3 inches wide
1 set of Shaft Harness
2 sets of Plough ditto
2 Pickaxes
2 American Axes
1 Cross-cut Saw
25 pairs of Blankets, 8¼ lbs., per pair
250 yards of light Canvas for beds

Tenders to be in duplicate, and may be for the supply of the whole or any of the articles specified.

Any further information may be obtained by application at this office.

TENDERS FOR PURIRI POSTS AND RAILS, &c.

Colonial Secretary’s Office,
Auckland, 29th Oct., 1850.

TENDERS will be received at this Office until noon on Saturday, the 9th November, 1850, from parties desirous of supplying Puriri Posts and Rails for fencing, and also from parties for putting up a quantity of Puriri Posts and Rail fencing.

Further particulars can be obtained on application at the Office of the Superintendent of Works.

TENDERS FOR ERECTION OF A SHED, TANKS, &c., FOR FORMATION OF

Colonial Secretary’s Office,
Auckland, 29th October, 1850.

TENDERS will be received at this Office until noon on Saturday, the 9th November, 1850, from parties desirous of contracting for the construction of a Shed, Tanks, and other works for the formation of Public Washing Grounds in the Government Domain.

Further particulars can be obtained on application at the Office of the Superintendent of Works.

HIS Excellency the Governor-in-Chief has been pleased to nominate THOMAS BECKHAM, Esq., Resident Magistrate, to be the proper Officer for granting discharges to Seamen, under the 7 and 8 Vic.
