MAIZE
Colonial Secretary’s Office,
Auckland, January 31st, 1850.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Contract for the supply of Maize required for the public service in such quantities as may be required for the public service during the six months commencing with the 1st of March next.
TENDERS will be received at this office, until noon of Monday, the 11th of February next, for the supply of the abovementioned article.
The Tenders to state the price per bushel at which the Maize will be delivered at the Government Stables in Mechanics’ Bay.
Tenders to be in duplicate, sealed, and endorsed “Tender for Maize.”

GAOL CLOTHING

TENDERS will be received at this Office, until noon of Monday, the 11th February next, for furnishing the Gaol at Auckland with the undermentioned articles, viz.:
- Frocks (duck) .......... 12
- Trousers (duck) .......... 12 pair
- Blankets .......... 22
- Rugs .......... 12
Tenders to be in duplicate, sealed, and endorsed “Tender for Gaol Clothing.”

SUPREME COURT
NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal Business will be held at the Court House, Auckland, on Friday, the 1st day of March next, at Ten o’clock in the forenoon; and that a sitting for the despatch of Civil Business will be holden at the Court House, on Thursday, the 7th day of March next, at Ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which times and place all persons under recognizance to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses are required to give their attendance.

NOTICE is hereby given, that in pursuance of the Imprisonment for Debt Ordinance, Session 8, No. 7, the second day of March, 1850, the Court will sit at Auckland, on Saturday, the second day of March, 1850, for the hearing of applications for relief, and for the despatch of all business arising under the provisions of the above Ordinance.

SPECIAL MEETING of the Justices of the Peace for the Town and District of Auckland, will be held at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, at Auckland, on Tuesday, the 19th day of March next, at 12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of forming a Militia List for the year next ensuing.
