PROVISIONS.
Colonial Secretary’s Office,
Auckland, May 21, 1850.
TENDERS in duplicate will be received at this office until noon of Monday, the 10th June, from parties who may be willing to enter into contract to furnish supplies of the following articles for the service of the Government at Auckland, during the six months commencing 1st July, 1850.
- Biscuit and Flour, ... at per 100 lbs.
- Fresh Pork .......... at per lb.
- Salt Pork .......... at per lb.
- Salt Beef ......... at per lb.
- Suet .............. at per lb.
- Sugar ............. at per lb.
- Tea ............... at per lb.
- Raisins ........... at per lb.
- Potatoes .......... at per lb.
- Rice .............. at per lb.
- Coffee ............ at per lb.
- Pease ............. at per bushel
- Vinegar ........... at per gallon
- Oil ............... at per gallon
- Cotton Wick ....... at per lb.
Information respecting the terms of payment and other particulars may be had on application at this office, where also forms of Tender may be obtained.
Security will be required for the due performance of the contract, and the Tenders should be accompanied by a notification of the consent of the parties who may be proposed as sureties.
Tenders to be sealed and endorsed “Tender for Rations.”

PROVISIONS FOR HOSPITAL.

Auckland, May 21, 1850.
TENDERS in duplicate will be received at this Office until noon of Monday, the 10th June, for the supply of the undermentioned articles, for the service of the Colonial Hospital, during the six months commencing on the 1st of July, 1850. The articles to be delivered at the Hospital at the expense of the contractor, and to be subject to the approval of the Colonial Surgeon as to quality.
- Fresh Beef or Mutton
- Pork
- Fine Bread
- Potatoes
- Tea and Sugar
- Oatmeal .......... at per lb.
- Arrowroot
- Sago
- Rice
- Salt
- Soap
- Mixed Vegetables
- Dip Candles
- Brandy, Port Wine, and Porter .. at per two gallons.
- Milk and Vinegar .. at per quart.
- Oil .............. at per gallon.
- Straw, at per ton of 2,240 lbs.
Security will be required for the due performance of the contract, and the Tenders should be accompanied by a notification of the consent of the parties proposed as sureties.

TENDERS in duplicate will be received at this office until noon on Monday, 10th June, from parties who may be willing to enter into a contract for the Colonial Service at Auckland, to furnish supplies of Provisions and other Necessaries to the undermentioned departments, during the ensuing six months, commencing 1st July, 1850.
Gaol—Auckland.
- Ration No. 1, at per Ration.
- Ration No. 2, at per Ration.
- Ration No. 3, at per Ration.
Police Lock-up—Auckland.
- At per ration.
Rations for Destitute Persons.
- At per ration.
Security will be required for the due performance of the contract, and the Tenders should be accompanied by a notification of the consent of the parties proposed as sureties.
