Information respecting the established ra-
tions for the several departments may be
obtained at this office.

Security will be required for the due per-
formance of the Contract, and the Tenders
should be accompanied by a notification of the
consent of the parties who may be proposed as
Sureties.

Tenders to be sealed and endorsed “Tender
for Rations.”

PROVISIONS FOR HOSPITAL.

Colonial Secretary’s Office,
Auckland, 15th June, 1848.

TENDERS will be received at this office
until noon on Monday, the 3rd July, for
the supply of the undermentioned articles, for
the service of the Colonial Hospital, during the
twelve months, commencing on the 22nd Au-
gust, 1848. The articles to be delivered at the
Hospital at the expense of the contractor, and
to be subject to the approval of the Colonial
Surgeon as to quality.

Fresh Beef or Mutton
Pork
Fine Bread
Potatoes
Tea and Sugar
Oatmeal
Arrowroot...
at per lb.
Sago
Rice
Salt
Soap
Mixed Vegetables
Dip Candles
Brandy, Port Wine,
and Porter...
at per two
gallons
Milk and Vinegar...
at per quart
Oil...
at per gallon
Straw, at per ton of 2240 lbs.

Security will be required for the due per-
formance of the contract, and the tenders should
be accompanied by a notification of the consent
of the parties proposed as sureties.

Tenders to be in duplicate, sealed and en-
dorsed “Tender for Provisions for Hospital.”

RATIONS TO DESTITUTE PERSONS.

Colonial Secretary’s Office,
Auckland, 18th June, 1848.

TENDERS will be received at this office
until noon, on Wednesday, the 28th inst.,
for the supply of Rations to paupers on the
following scale, under the direction of the Im-
migration Agent, during the twelve months
commencing 1st July 1848.

SCALE FOR EACH RATION:
8 oz. Pork
24 oz. Bread
1 ½ oz. Sugar
½ oz. Tea
8 oz. Potatoes

Security will be required for the due perfor-
mance of the contract, and the tenders should
be accompanied by a notification of the consent
of the parties proposed as sureties.

Tenders to be in duplicate, sealed, and en-
dorsed “Tender for Rations to Destitute Per-
sons.”

SMITHS’ WORK.

Colonial Secretary’s Office,
Auckland, June 12th, 1848.

TENDERS in duplicate will be received
at this office, until noon on Monday, 27th
inst., from parties desirous of contracting for
the performance of Smiths’ Work for the ser-
vice of this Government, for the ensuing twelve
months, commencing 1st July next.

Information respecting the probable descrip-
tion of work which will be required, and the
terms of delivery and payment may be obtained
on application to the Superintendent of Public
Works, from whom Forms of Tender may be
obtained.

Security will be required for the due per-
formance of the Contract, and the Tenders
should be accompanied by a notification of the
consent of the parties who may be proposed
as Sureties.

Tenders to be sealed and endorsed “Tender
for Smiths’ Work.”

NOTICE.

MPOUNDED at Auckland,—one Red
Bullock, branded D C on back; one Red
Bullock, point cut off one horn to prevent its
growing into the eye, brand on rump not le-
gible; five Red Heifers, one Black Heifer,
one White Heifer, one Brown sided Heifer,
one Spotted Heifer, the latter nine are all branded
Z on rump—if not claimed to be sold on
the 4th July next.
