GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.

WELLINGTON, APRIL 24, 1852.

Wellington, 5th April, 1852.

I, FRANCIS DILLON BELL, a Commissioner duly appointed to hear and decide
Claims to Land by persons claiming Title thereto from, through, or under the New
Zealand Company, Do hereby decide that the Persons whose names are hereunder
written, and whose Claims have been referred to me by His Excellency the Governor-in-Chief, are duly entitled to Crown Grants for land the particulars whereof are set opposite their respective names.

DISTRICT. No. of Report. No. of Claim. NAME OF CLAIMANT. COMMISSIONER'S DECISION.
Rangitiki. 1 1 Hugh Ross. Entitled to a Crown Grant of Seven hundred and eighty (780) acres in the District of Rangitiki, the boundaries whereof will be particularly defined by the Commissioner. Subject as to the issue of the Grant to a Direction recorded in the Office of the Commissioner.
Harbour. 2 4 James Calder. Entitled to a Crown Grant of part of the Country Section numbered 3 in the Harbour District, containing about Fifty-nine poles or thereabouts, the boundaries whereof will be particularly defined by the Commissioner.
Lower Hutt. 3 6 Henry Collett. Entitled to a Crown Grant of Nine acres or thereabouts, being part of the Country Section numbered 4 in the Lower Hutt District, the boundaries whereof will be particularly defined by the Commissioner.
Lower Hutt. 4 5 William Riddler. Entitled to a Crown Grant of Sixteen acres, being part of the Country Section numbered 4 in the Lower Hutt District, the boundaries whereof will be particularly defined by the Commissioner.
Wellington, Hutt, and Rangitiki. 5 16 Hon. H. W. Petre. Entitled to Crown Grants of the following land, Four hundred acres more or less in the District of Rangitiki, the boundaries whereof will be particularly defined by the Commissioner.
