Wellington, 12th February, 1852.

In reference to Earl Grey’s Despatch of the 8th August 1851, published in the Government Gazette of the 10th January last, His Excellency the Governor-in-Chief directs it to be notified that he will be prepared to receive Deputations from the Settlers on the subjects alluded to in that Despatch on Saturday the 14th inst.—Tuesday the 17th inst.—and Saturday the 21st inst., at twelve o’Clock, at the Council Chamber, Wellington.

Wellington, February 9, 1852.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a Special Meeting of the Justices of the Peace for this District, will be held at this Court, on Tuesday, the second day of March next, at 12 o’clock, for the purpose of considering applications for the transfer of Publicans Licences.
