NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS.

TENDERS will be received at this Office until Saturday 28th February next at noon, for

BUILDING A GAOL IN WELLINGTON.

Plans and Specifications may be seen and further information obtained on application to Mr. Roberts at the Royal Engineer Office.

The Tenders are to be forwarded in duplicate addressed to the Colonial Secretary, and endorsed "Tender for Gaol Wellington."

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest Tender.

EDWARD ROBERT WARD, of Quail Island, deceased Intestate, and JAMES M’NEIL, late of Lyttelton, deceased Intestate—

PURSUANT to the Rule of this Honorable Court, the Creditors of the above named Intestates are, on or before the 23rd day of April next, to come in and prove their debts before Edward Wright Esquire, Deputy-Registrar of the said Court, at his office in the Court House at Lyttelton; or in default thereof they will be peremptorily excluded from all benefit arising from the said Estates—

SUPREME COURT.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Sitting of the SUPREME COURT for the Despatch of Criminal Business, will be holden at the Court House, Wellington, on Monday the first day of March next, at ten o’Clock in the forenoon; and that a Sitting for the Despatch of Civil Business, will be holden at the Court House on Monday the 8th day of March next, at ten o’Clock in the forenoon, at which times and place all persons under recognizances to appear either as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are hereby required to give their attendance.

IN the “List of Officiating Ministers” published in the Government Gazette of Date 27th November 1851, Vol. 4, No. 29, P. 181. The Reverend T. D. Nicholson, appears as a Clergyman in connection with the “Church of Scotland.”—It should have been of the “Free Church of Scotland.”
