Public Works, Wellington, 1852.—The expense attending the erection of the Hospital, accounts for the large increase under this head.
Aborigines.—The amount under this head comprises £234 for Education, £30 pension to Chief at Wanganui, £65 for Mares to Chief at Taupo, and £37 for Printing, &c., Books.
Printing.—The increase in this item of Expenditure is caused by the printing of the Judges' Report.
Government Brig.—All payments on account of the Brig are now made at Wellington, and not as formerly at Auckland.
